April Fool's Day
I didnt know that there is a western custom like the same we have in Iran: "Sizdebedar Lie". Mary has sent me comment and told me that "April1" is like the"Sizdebedar Lie":
"I was reading your blog and the 13th day of Nowrooz. It comes at a funny time
because I was just talking to my daughter about the Western custom of the 1st of
April, called April Fool's Day. It sounds exactly like Sizdebedar! Apparently
each country in Europe, and the United States, claims to have invented this
tradition, but it looks like it actually comes from Persia. Maybe we Americans
have more roots in Persia than we realize."
